A piece of christianity I am confused about.

The bible says, if you believe in the lord you will be forgiven of your sins. The bible also says if you don't live by the lords rules/laws you will spend eternity in hell. If he forgives why does he threaten with the idea of hell? Or is the big man just messing with us and hopes no one notices?

No the ' Big Man ' isn't messing with us, it's the writers of the Scriptures that got it wrong

Hahaha, then how do we know what's right or wrong?? Or does it depend on who you talk too? If so how creditable are the ideas? I have my own ideas on the topic but maybe I am wrong. That's why I like to ask questions.

If you need Scriptures to tell you what's right or wrong you open yourself up to manipulation.
The Bible's are full of contradictions as they are written by Humans who see things differently so I personally take the Teachings that make sense and leave the rest behind. Follow your heart
In my Youth I was taught that Scriptures are ' Rule Books ' but as I matured I realized they are ' Guide Books ' to help you find your own way.

Jesus prophesized that wolves, dressed in sheep's clothing, would enter the congregations and twist things. For example, Hell was never in the Bible..... it got added by a very poor translations.

I was raised lutheran/ Wisconsin synd I don't know much about the different in synodits you may know more about that then I do. The little I looked for information on it, it sounds to be very strict and scripture based. Hell was stressed on a regular basis. My family weren't strict about religion in the home but we did go to church every Sunday, that was about it. I remember having to wake up my dad slot because he was snoring a little to loud. Yup, he was that guy everyone chuckled at in church. But I was one of those weird kids who actually liked church to me it was story time and I love listening to stories so I picked up a lot of information in the Wisconsin synd format if that means anything. hi satan wants us to believe in a "Hellfire", something Jehovah God and Jesus NEVER created. it's best if people start doing research on how and why the false teachings of a "Hellfire" became part MANY spiritual teachings. Jesus said that we MUST do HIS FATHER'S WILL. if we want to be saved ,(Matt. 7:21 Not every one that said unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that do the will of my Father which is in heaven).

did Jehovah tell Adam that the day of eating from a certain tree. he will die and go to a fiery place where he will forever be tortured? let's see ,(Gen. 2:17 "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die”). NO mention of a fiery place. so what IS our payment for sin once we have died?...a "hellfire?

Even if you show people that 'Hell' came about because of poor translations and that many of the newer translations have made the necessary corrections for their Bibles and no longer use Hell; there are those who still believe Hell really exists.

But then, on The Moon, Hell, I mean Hell Crater exists...... named after Anton Mesmer's teacher Father Hell[er].
And Hell Michigan exist so if you are driving to Hell, Michigan I guess you can say "You are going to Hell".
