Highway to Heaven

Anyone remember this show from the eighties?

I'm watching it now and had forgotten just how much I loved it. I was a child when it was on but I got into it when my mum bought the series some years later. It's so uplifting and the opening view of 'Heaven' and the accompanying music are really beautiful too.

Yes used to watch it often in the 80's as a child. Wonderful to see it being re run today. Still inspirational today.

We need more inspirational stuff like it instead of the violent dramas we mostly get now. Michael Landon made a very convincing angel I'm working my way through the show now as my mum has the first two seasons on dvd.

I liked it. Gushingly nice programme but got away with it. Good watch. Used to love the save a person each week shows, like Kung Fu, Equalizer and the A Team

About five years ago I bought three seasons of the series. Every year I have another run through them. I love it, it has many powerful truths and reminders.

I remember the TV series, though I don't recall a film ...

It was lovely though and I enjoyed watching it. Great comfort in the sentiments behind the series.

Hello Starbuck.
You got me thinking about the series now. I have my favorite episodes like others would too. The first one that comes to mind is 'For the love of Larry'.

Touched by an Angel seems to be a recent equivalent, also on re runs.

I loved Highway to Heaven, every episode was a tearjerker, we always had the tissues ready as every episode pulled at your heart strings. Loved Michael Landon in Little House on the Prairie too

Hi there, Starbuck! (((HUGS)))

In my meandering around the forum (I'm in mediumship quite a bit lately) I came upon a post of yours which made me realize how much and I miss you and so many of the SF members that helped me so much in the years gone by.. Sniff, sniff! :P So, I thought I'd pop in here and say 'hi'!

I loved Highway to Heaven too, incidentally! Oh how that could bring a tear to the eye.. I've been looking for good shows for the kiddos and this would be super so I'm going to see if it's on DVD via Netflix!

I hope you are feeling well these days, my friend!

Love and Hugs to you!
