Talhotblond Movie
Have anyone seen this movie Talhotblond? It sounds like a porn movie but is not is, actually is based on a real life event. Pretty interesting, I recommend it and the end is very shocking. Only to image that it actually did happened. There are lots of deceiving people out there specially online, people think that online is safe and is not. Lots of deceiving twisted minded people out there. Nothing is safe or innocent anymore you have to constantly watch your back.

YES!! it's based on a true story. I saw this a few years ago on msnc in the wee hours of the night. I think my mouth opened in shock with the twisted turn of events! The title is meant to interpret as "Tall Hot Blond". A man who finds love on the internet.
It makes you think, the internet is unregulated and open. We never know who we are really talking to. I think a lot of people make up stories on who they are as well. It's up to us to believe, hopefully with caution!

Girls, I loved this movie!
It's one of those films I don't mind watching a second time...especially when based on true stories.
Wow, the deception behind the screen is unbelievable...I was feeling sorry for the poor guy at first, because it's very easy to get caught up in such a "virtual lie", but then he just went mad...(very well played by the actor, btw)
I suspected the end....as soon as I saw the door open....don't want to spoil it in case others want to watch it....there's a great lesson in there for all.
Thumbs up.

Wonderful, glad you liked it Hope. I think the movie resonates with everyone. The way both people wrote love letters to each other, I was all embarrassed like "dang, the producers read my chat logs"!
I think they call this "catfishing" or being "catfished". When people make up who they are, and put a secret identity online to lure people. People who seriously don't have lives. My brother was catfished. He met someone who wasn't who she was, Lol. He flew out to Vegas to meet her. Appearance was dead wrong to the MAX. Learned his lesson and we mess with him about it to this day.

Oh, wow, Blue...you have a live example of this type of situation in your own family...
I'm wondering how "she" worked up the nerve and agreed to meet the man she had previously deceived, regarding her identity....how did she think he'd take it?
I can imagine the hurt your brother must have felt, though this was a true eye opener for him.
Regarding the film, I was so curious to see ( twisting the ending here) if there would actually be a meeting, should a certain event had never taken place.
Some movies leave you wanting more, but since this is a true story, the ending is specific.

Glad you liked it Hope! and BlueClover your too funny!
That's how pedophiles get their victims by lying about their age, and who they really are. There was an episode from Dr. Phil that was in regards to this topic and that was shocking too, this lady has a profile of a guy in a dating site and she had fooled about 5 ladies or more (I can't remember the exact number) that actually fell in love with this profile that she made up. She was using this random guy's pictures without his consent. The real guy of the pictures had no idea that was happening.
