Different versions of what is going on.

There are all these different versions of what is going on or what happened. There are so many different versions of Truth. I often feel very lost. I understand that it is up to me to be myself and to manage amongst it all. If I fail then it is my own loss. I MUST do it myself. It was a hard lesson to learn. There is not really anyone else that I can rely upon.

Different versions of reality add up to a sea of change. A big reality containing many definitions of itself. In the middle of it all there is me wondering what is going on.

one of the hardest tricks to learn is to not get involved with what it 'is'. Contrary to popular opinion that just causes a lot of problems...

That sounds like good advice. Slowly getting the hang of it.

The "rational approach" says that when you have a problem you have to worry about it. On the other hand, our emotions create / attract situations that will cause the same kind of emotions (likes attract likes).

I believe that the best way is to face the problem and work confidently on solving it without worrying.

Regarding the contradictory information about what's happening ...

When you're facing the "unavoidable", it is futile to think about avoiding it, isn't it? The only position that makes sense is to prepare, and to best deal with the consequences of the "unavoidable".

You know there isn't any reliable source of information. Parsing the information gives you worries, which is bad for you in itself. Hence, minimize your exposure to news-media to an absolutely necessary minimum, and don't worry about things you can't influence. That's what I try to do.

I'm here just to express my opinions, and read about others'.

Hi there,
All of us here, we are only human, still, for the time being, and although there are many concepts and ideas and what have you about a whole variety of spiritual and other subjects, we cannot know anything for sure, not from our limited point of view.
I would say, you don't need to know, know what comes easily to you, what feels right, the rest will come later.
You don't have to know, let go off the stress.
Good luck and blessings to you.
