Or trapped by the local mind?
To some it is all an illusion and of the mind.

hopefully people don't start jumping off buildings to find out. or banging themselves in the head with an iron skillet to see if we have to believe in pain in order to expereince it.

Or cut themselves to find a chakra.

Some belief systems believe in more then 7 chakras. Some believe in 10 chakras.
As for chakras, very few people have seen them.

So this chakra-question is interesting. Some people do believe in 10 chakras, or 12 and apparently 5 or none.
For me it's 7. And i have no question about it, because i can feel only seven and not less or more.
But, i have understood that some people do experience less or more chakras than 7.
Am i just not paying attention to other chakras than what i've learned, or is it really like that that people from different traditions actually have more or less chakras?

It may not be the size or number of them, but how the energy is used or flows.

Seems like it would be impossible to prove chakras exist. They're invisible and subjective "feelings." The esoteric traditions in Buddhism generally teach four chakras. One could just choose to believe in them though.

I suspect you were taught a 7 Chakra system.
Do you feel the Chakra or the Aura?
