Is something wrong with my throat chakra?

I haven't always had this problem, I don't know why I do now.
My sentenses come out all jumbled up like I'm trying to get them out too fast.
I'm always saying "Whats the word I'm looking for?" Which is odd because I'm a writer and can usually think of witty
word play right on the spot.
I'm terribly shy and have no confidence that anyone wants to hear what I have to say.
I talk very quietly and let people talk over me.
But when I'm home alone I sing and belt my little heart out for hours.

Any suggestions?

It sounds like its anxiety that's causing the problem.

Try to relax more, go for walks or swim regularly if you don't get much exercise. Attending a Tai Chi class once a week would also be very beneficial.

To me it sounds like a problem with the solar plexus chakra. That is where the self worth is located. I also sometimes have problems with finding the words, but for me that is because my crown chakra is too fast for my throat chakra, not because there is something wrong with the throat so have you seen an increase in your crown chakra (dream, thoughts and ideas).

The solar plexus is also responsible for saying/doing things in the right sequence...
