and I agree

but that doesn't change the fact
that some of us
have lived through
things like this
and much much worse
with no sympathy from anyone
and oftentimes terrible animosity,
for one life or many.

simply noone cared to care.
and everyone was against.

even to the point
where a simple complaint
or talking about anything real
would get one locked up
so one learned to be afraid
of speaking one's mind.

I guess some of us
might be thinking
'this is what you get
for being so mean
and for so long'

while we sit about in comfort
dealing with more of the same stuff
we always have to deal with anyway
and you are too distracted
with horrors you know nothing about
to be mean
for a change.

but personally I just see
the possibilities

having learned from what was
that even in hardship
maybe especially in hardship
the most real things are offered.
