In term of values, we hold integrity and dignity pretty high, as well as self respect. Our pride is our greatest asset and our downfall because it's hard for us to accept those who've betrayed us or hurt us in the past. In this way we can be very inflexible when it comes to love. They say when we lose respect for those we love, there's no rekindling that flame for us. We have a lot to lose, because we can give a lot in the way we show and express our love. Thanks! The bolded is exactly me! Once I'm betrayed by someone I never give them a second glance again. I've got two family members and a friend of the family where this has happened, though in one case I can't even remember what caused me to be this way with them in the first place it was so long ago, the distrust is still there and I pay them no attention. But in all cases I really cared for them beforehand.
Now I think I am more flexible than I used to be as I've grown, but yeah I definitely see those traits!
