A "Hedge Witch"?
So I have been doing some reading and just wanted to find out if what I am finding is in fact correct in some ways. One thing is about Solitaries and specifically a "Hedge Witch".
From what I read, a Hedge Witch is a solitary and focuses on things like Herbalism, "Magic", cooking, arts & crafts, earth mysteries and the Elements. I also read that they have a strict "green" attitude to their religion or practices as some don't consider themselves religious but rather as an expression of deity and emphasizing spontaneity within their practices as opposed to a define structure. Is this all true or am I far off course with this?
2 books being mentioned is:
"Hedge Witch: A guide to solitary Witchcraft" by Rae Beth
"The way of the Green Witch" by Arin Murphy Hiscock
Has anyone read these books at all? If so are they a good read/source of information?
