Your bird story reminds me of a few years back when married to now x husband.
I came home from uni with a friend and there was a note from him asking why I put a bird in our bedroom? I went HUH ???? went in there with my friend and sure enough there was a bird sitting on the bed. There was no way it could get in there, plus I had 2 cats inside and a dog. I put my hand out and the bird sat in it.
My friend opened the window as I placed my hand outside, it just sat there until another bird chirped.. then did a poop ( guess that was a thanks) and flew off.

My friend thought it amazing ..and meant something .. I needed more proof ( as married to scientist).

3 more occurences over a week..
A bird waiting inside my Mothers inclosed porch as I arrived with same friend.

A young bird ( raven)sitting under a tree as I walked local lake with same friend witha broken wing.. took to vets... the mother bird swooped my friend ( not me who was holding her baby.. phew!)

Finally on a trip with friend and her family a little bird caught by a eagle right in front of us on road as we were driving .. I screamed out window " let go" and the eagle let go of the little bird.

My friend asked what does a bird mean to me personally... I said freedom! Thanks for flashed back.

I figured there is some spiritual thing going on there - especially in light of what I am doing - so taking it as a you are on the right path message.

Should be a life changing/awakening to live in a buddhist temple with the Monks for a Month and do what they do - hope to get a greater appreciation for life and some peace of mind and inner calmness.

If you like I will be happy to share some of my experiences when I get back - If I am allowed to take a camera -- I will be adding some picture to facebook page if the opportunity arises.

Guess what day I fly out......and whilst this has been booked for a while it only dawned on me yesterday

Yep --- the 11th
Guess how many letters in my name - Yep --- 11.

wow , well for me i see 11.11 everywhere from till reciepts to times birds have also played ther part with me also and now i love them , a while back i discovered i met my tiwn flame because of his personaltiy beig so damaged i nicknamed my bird with the broken wing , why i dont know , but since then birds have been with me all the time , same with swans , the last day i saw my twin i saw a bird with a broken wing when my twin returb]ned 2 days prior a bird wa sin my home , no window open no nothing there was no way it could of got in , i knew my bird had come home , and i was right my tiwn had came home to me each time he left i would see this bird , i even bought an ornamental brioda cage with two clip on birds i always kept one inside one outside the one insde was him , . anyway the dya i moved it the wing fell off lol this tokld me he wasnt ready to be moved literally as at that time he was going thro more personal stuff , then my firned bought me a bird cgae on a chain with a bird inside when i saw it i found it was the exact same bird with the same markings i had n my new bird tatoo 2 days later he returned , 11 equals 2 when added together , he always shopws up 2 days after a bird reference lol they are messengers for me , i also have a tiebtan monk as my guide :P)

I started seeing 11:11 a little over a month ago, and also 12:12. It has subsided when I started to ignore it more, but now I'm feeling a bit more spiritual again and it's coming back a little, how strange is this?

i remember me and a friend both saw 11:11 at the same time, it was very moving

Yeah I get all of this too!..11.11 or any double didgets are supposed to be aligned with the universes "mother code"...creation

Some also say it has something to do with "midwayers"......those inbetween life and spirit world...watch you or pointing you correct!
