So what can't You believe ?
I'm talking more about things in general that you had a misconception of .
Like where things are geographically or what certain words mean or what you thought they meant LOL...
( My sister in law thought the mona Lisa was her auntie LOL....
She was gutted beyond belief when she found out she wasn't !!! )

Bolton's not in Lancashire anymore. Withington hospital is in Didsbury .
And two facts about the sitcom, One Foot in The Grave.
The character was christened Victor Meldrew, the Christian name chosen with calculated irony because the writer Renwick saw him as a loser.
Meldrew was based on a role called Godfrey Above, which he’d developed for a sitcom titled God Above.
(Just thought of a new sitcom, 'Two Feet No Shoes!' comedy leg-ends!----'Slipperless in Settle')

Haha... Love the explanation about Victor Meldrew . I really loved that show. "For pities sake, I don't BELIEVE it ".... He never believed anything and it was always his own doing LOL.
( Naughty you making reference to my shoe situation which I fully agree is very hard to believe , but true!! ...haha....)

If you’re confused about Middlesbrough, you’d be even more confused with Bournemouth. They have been chopped and changed many times over the years between Dorset and Hampshire. Now they are their own unitary authority! |

No way !!! What is going on ??
I'll tell you something else that I don't believe ...
The shape of the map of the UK.
Because I know full well it's changed in real life especially on the east coast with all the erosion. And further than that , the little funny "sticky out bit" on the right of the map , about in the middle.
I have seen with my own eyes the re-shaping of that bit. |

What you say is true about the changing faces of uk in Wales there are about
a good dozen or more than can not get insurance because the sea is claiming more of the land,
they say in about 5 years time the sea would have claimed all of the land the houses were stood on.
As for changing Boundaries that is down to your local Government is Responsible
