Think beyond yourself (i.e. ''I like this flower'' / ''I don't like bugs'').

Because of modern agriculture and declining natural areas, there is less habitat for many insect species. This means the overall health of the system we live in is also declining. Declining biodiversity basically means planetary health decline. Some of the real magnets for bumblebees, butterflies etc. are foxglove, butterfly bush, lavender.

Also 'pretty', if you wish to satisfy your own ego by the way.

Potatoes and carrots and strawberries I grow my own strawberries I do only trouble is when I am picking them off the Vine I can't stop eating them because they taste so nice I can't wait for my strawberries to come back again and the very very soon I will get a few month and guess what I'll be eating them like god knows what
Plus my own potatoes and carrots they taste so lovely your own because you know it's played in a soul and it's only your hands has been honest not like the supermarket where you don't know their people's hands have been
Plus I own mint because my brother give me a mint plant and I give my sister a mint plant he did

My favourite things to plant are Lavender and sweat peas and I have got a weeping cherry tree in my yard as well. when that blooms it is beautiful.
If i had a strawberry plant the strawberry's wouldn't have a chance to grow
i would be eating them.

Namaste

I used to have wild strawberries at my sisters, small but very tasty, she got fed up of their rampant growth so pulled them all up,years later she regretted it so bought some more, these weren,t the same variety and had no taste at all.

The one item that grows 'naturally' all on their own are beans. I have some plants that are in the 10 foot to 17 foot range. I had one bean stalk that had a waist of 22 inches!

I also have a lot of bamboo. I got to learn how to harvest it for eating.
