Not attacks per say. I never get why people are so afraid of attacks and think this is so common.

What you do get from substance (ab)use is that your own energy field gets affected, thinner, misty spots, gaps, that kind of thing. So in that sense you're not so strong in your own energies and it is easier to pick up negative stuff.
That is not the same as attacks as those would be more deliberate.
Picking up negative stuff can be compared to leaving your front door open and leafs, sand, dust, stray garbage and whatnot blowing into your home, creating clutter and dirt.

Not certain if watching porn falls under the same 'label'. I guess it depends on why and how often someone does that. There are quite a few people that have a sex addiction which comes from some inner imbalance in the lower chakras. The cause often can be traced back to (plural) past lives and most everyone has suffered sexual abuse in one form or other.
Not everyone, however, is a sex addict.
So I guess again it's defining between being a sex addict and taking pleasure from watching porn. The latter I don't see being an issue, like having the occasional glass of wine or other alcoholic beverage wouldn't cause a lot of grief.

These are a few things known act's with many many more that could be mentioned. So let's include it all. On the other hand does this mean other actions lead to other actions from the spiritual side. Spirits don't have anywhere the power we give them. That being an illusion. Now doing certain things mean one will not enter the spiritual world. Teaching as you do mention more so telling one, advising what to do which is not about spirit attack. Negativity leads to negativity. Cause and effect.
