The Magic of this Night - The Winter Solstice by Seth

This is a brief channeling by Seth, but one that felt good. Enjoy!

Winter is a time for contemplation, for casting away of the fall and getting into the insides of yourselves, for outside is cold and damp and it is nice to be inside where it is warm and comforting.

This day is a magical day.

A day of atonement. A day of remembrance. A day to be free of fear, and the shackles that fear brings, a washing away of sorts of certain energies that attach to fear and bring down your energy. This day forth will be brighter and more alive as you leave the past behind you and step into the newness of Winter, the Winter Solstice. The shortest day of your year, in daylight terms. Around the other side of the Earth it is the longest day of the year, in terms of lightness. The yin and the yang of things really.

Your yin, their yang.

Be at peace and know now that things are changing, change is in the air, a freshness is breathing through the planet, a rebirth is happening, a newness of spirit, a lightness of being, a sparkle of magic, a sprinkle of fear that knows no bounds but it forgotten under the newness of the solstice. The solstice stomps out the old and brings forth the new.

Freedom is in the air, a freedom from words that can hurt or maim, are blown away in the winds of the winter. Change comes through with the wind. The winds of change are truly upon the earth, blowing out the cobwebs of fear and planting new seeds of hope and Joy.

The Joy of Christmas is all around you. Just breathe it in for a minute.

The breath brings you more gifts that you can use. Light a candle and see the flames dance and sway, lighthearted in their luminous dance. Be like the candle flames and dance with a light step in your heart, be the person that helps someone that needs a helping hand. It can be a small help, a smile, a laugh, a happy hello, that can warm a heart that has need of comfort.
You all could use some comfort, so to give comfort to another is to give it to yourself as well.

Sometimes I like to speak about religion this time of year.
Religious beliefs are a comfort, a prayer, a blessing, a Joy upon the earth.
Bring some kindness to yourself and others. Be kind. Be gentle. Be sweet to each other. Hug and laugh and tell jokes and sing songs and enjoy your Holidays. This is a very magical time of year. Don’t waste it on things that are of no consequence. Make it count, the things that matter. And leave what doesn’t behind. Don’t drag them into the New year. Leave them where they lay, forgotten behind you.

The New Year has a tone, a sound, you can all hear if you quiet yourselves and listen. Be quiet and listen.

You will find much to be happy about, to be thankful for.

Peace on Earth. Sit in that thought for as long as you can. Peace on Earth.
The tone and sound of that rings far and wide.
Peace on Earth.
