I'm from Louisiana and have a Cajun accent. I get asked if I'm from Russia a lot bc of it lol

Interesting. Here in the UK I don’t think we know too much about US regional accents. We could probably identify New York, LA, Boston and the Deep South but that would be about it.
But the USA is big and has a lot of people. The UK is small but populated and has a lot of regional accents. The USA would be diverse too, but fifty times more. |
