Buried alive
Spurned, abandoned, left to fate,
rapture yet does not abate,
for we’ve been touched by God’s grace,
held by Him in warm embrace.
Memory brings back the past
but destiny’s die is cast,
so we just keep flowing on,
each life breath ushering dawn.
Severe are life’s lessons learnt,
being by betrayal burnt
but we bear no one ill will;
our bliss drenched heart’s always still.
