Gassho in my mind could be used to show gratitude, state intentions and connect to Reiki and of course to just be Reiki for a moment (or even more than a few moments  ).
I am however unsure what you mean by Ho-Ji-Rei meditation technique. I know of Reiji ho where you would let your hands instinctively move to where healing is needed. Is that what you mean?
By the way. Level 1 Reiki is not a Noob level. Personally I find the longer I spend utilizing reiki 1 techniques the more Reiki reveals itself. To selflessly let Reiji ho happen for instance, making sure I don't steer or interpret what happens was surprisingly way more beneficial and educational than anything I learned at Reiki 2 or even master level.

It was a fault of the dammit broken keyboard!  When i'm channeling while meditating,when i'm putting the hands to the position of third eye,i feel the energy flows inside my head somehow.   |

Yay! I was so excited when I got level 2, many years after level 1. I had such great experiences with the first.

Yeah,despite i haven't the opportunity to explore the healing energy of reiki as i wanted,such as using the symbols,sending healing to past moments that need healing,or distance healing,everytime i use gasho position immediately i feel the hot and vibration of the energy passing through my hands.Also exploring reiki box.
I'm interesting also doing channeling and connecting with archangels,guardian angel. |
