Native Spirit: There appears to be two ways of quoting a post to which one wants to comment:
Use the Quote button at the foot of the post I wish to quote; and
copy/paste the relevant phrases to the reply post so that a comment can be referenced.
I read the rule about quote as in using the quote button but if that also applies to copy/paste and put ""-" around it, then I shall stop.
Edit: Since the copy/paste method is no different from preparing any other post from scratch, is there a limit on the size/number of words in a post?
Thank you.

Just sharing some Non-Duality info here to maybe help on this point. Non-Duality teaching generally says that although there appears to be an interplay of opposites, this duality is illusory. There is only an unbounded, indivisible 'One'. So to use the example of alive or dead, the One is Life itself, and within Life there appears the duality of what it is and what it's not - alive and not-alive. This play of opposites appears within the Singularity of Life itself. So there's not really anything that isn't alive - there is only an illusion of not-alive.
I see it similarly with Love. Within Complete Love there appears love and hate. It's possible to see these opposites as not separate, but as a continuum. For instance a continuum of love, with the highest purest love at one end and the other end stretching further from love to become the opposite of love, i.e. hate.

I’ve merged death and life into one in myself, to end separation at the core of all things so I see this as an important awareness and integration to undo the opposites as myself in all other ways.
In the world as it is and perceived I live through the reality I’ve opened in myself. So everything is there, I’m aware it is, but where I am in it, has changed by ending my separation from within.
As a human experiencing myself, once aware and clear, opposites just are and I reside in the reality as I am, not as the world around me is. It’s still all in its existence as it is and one can still use language to describe anything.
Living in the present moment, fully immersed without mind/body separating things out, your functioning from a more ‘whole’ perspective and the experience as I experience this, is not hindered by duality.
It’s through your own depth clear and open, you can experience a deeper more fulfilling relationship regardless of external perceptions. When you drop from mind into your being, the light or dark in this way, becomes an immersion as it ‘just is’.
This is where the flow state can open and you’re moved differently than just what the mind is telling you is going on. Everything can take on a more expansive and different experience in this way of experiencing yourself.
Language can describe an experience but only where you are perceiving from. If I am immersed in flow state, my language will be entirely different to someone describing from a mind appointed view.

Goldcup 7. It's something difficult to discuss because I was admonished for quoting a couple of days ago. I still think this is a matter of word play since it relies on definitions. What is dead and what is alive? To a biologist they are not the same, not a oneness. When a human ceases to function as a human, life indeed goes on but in a different material form.
As I say, without quoting I can't focus on specific points. I tend to consider issues like this from a practical viewpoint.

The thread is moving away from my o/p now but as with the post above, the inability to quote makes a cohesive reply difficult!
I question your last sentence if I may - language is never able to communicate experiences except in rather 'global' terms such as pain, as most people have experienced pain of one kind or another. We would find it difficult indeed to describe the quality of a particular pain with the hope it would be meaningful. Yes, given a set of stimuli, we'd all describe the experience differently if we had words for it.
