Waaay back in the late 1980's when I first met my wife I saw her across the room and thought "what an incredibly beautiful and sexy woman".
She is Latina and I was especially captivated by her gorgeous big brown eyes and inwardly sighed to myself thinking, no way such a hot babe would ever be with an average looking guy like me.....turns out I was wrong and more than 30 years later we are still together!
Way back then this song was playing a lot on the radio and every time I heard it, I'd grab her and start dancing....I heard it this morning and thought to myself...."she's still my angel eyes

Every time I hear this song and the video that goes with it...it reminds me of the childhood my grandsons are enjoying growing up on the islands and beaches of the lower Texas coast and Texas Laguna Madre.
Nick and Noah...now ages 9 and 13 have hunted ,fished, dived, spearfished, beachcombed and explored there way all up and down the island we live on since they were little kids.
These boys have there own little boat...a 14ft Alumacraft with a 25hp, Yamaha two-stroke outboard on it. They saved there money from doing odd jobs and from killing pigeons for local restaurant's on the island.
There is hardly a day they are not out in there little boat fishing or swimming up and down the laguna and this song pretty much typifies the life they are enjoying.,...they're my little buddies and I love them so much!
