ok , ive joined to see if anyone can help me understand why when i am relaxed , especially driving , sometimes at night half asleep , i can see a purple changing haze of light ,quite a vivid purple and this has happend for years ...any ideas folks !!??

Wow Amanda Jayne, I have no idea. My son was seeing purple and some other colors at night and went to the eye doctor and he had some sort of a problem. I forget now what it was but it was after he'd been in a serious car accident. Maybe you should get your eyes checked just to be on the safe side? While meditating I have seen colors, flashes of images so fast I couldn't tell what they were and some real beautiful sights and also once I saw my husband when he was clear across the country from me doing some work. Possibly you are getting into a meditative state and seeing purple. Do you meditate and at those times do you see this purple you are referring to? I'm interested so keep us posted here please.
