SIPPING LIFE

SIPPING LIFE

Some people sip most daintily
of life, while others quaff!
And others still, seal up the cork
and never take it off.

So sip, or gulp, or even chug
but don’t retreat in haste
Some vintages may leave you flat
until the after-taste.

We have talked about speaking in secret codes. Here is my example. This isn't about wine appreciation, just makes use of the lingo to speak about enjoying all of life, even the rough spots. After-taste is the ability to suck some spiritual insight and growth out of the less pleasant times.

Gosh yes Abbara - am still discovering new flavours years and years later...

And I'm a sipper for the most part, who wishes she could sometimes just take a damn great big swig - but I hate that feeling when it all runs down your chin!

THE MILK OF LIFE

LIFE!
Give me big bites!
Mouths full
Running out the corners
Like a babe at breast
Nursing, feeding
Smiling, playing
Lost in the joy of being.

Until I am
Satiated
Content
I do rest assured
Assured that ...

God is my “milk-man”
And with great purpose
Delivers the milk of life
That best sustains
And fulfills me
At whatever stage of growth
He finds me.

Thankyou for sharing those rich lines with us Abarra. The word cornucopia comes to mind, it was a word i used a few times :). A feast of course, a life of real taste and knowing. Gracias.
