So at what point should someone who has, and is, participating in activities such as murder, rape, child abuse, genocide, arson, torture, etc. spend “precious Now” worrying about sin? Or are you using the word in a more limited sense?

Just wondering.

The only true sin is hurting another person unnecessarily

so who is without sin? who can claim they have never caused some form of suffering or harm in another?

On purpose? That would shorten the list, imo. Intention is a big thing.

The posted definitions of sin here are not really biblical but makes for interesting discussion.

The bible and jesus state or infer all have sinned in several places.

Romans 3:23
New International Version
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
(don't embody wholly god's nature and will)

John 8:7
King James Version
7 So when they continued asking him, Jesus lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

In Mark 10:18 and Luke 18:19, Jesus says, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.”

The philosophy is actually brilliant in my opinion and solves the problem of ego and spirituality. Too much to go into but this kind of sums it up:

James 4:10
New International Version
10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

James 4:17

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

judging by this forum an eternity spent teasing out the definition of words could actually be infinite. and there's not even a guarantee any concept has a final, ultimate definition. or perhaps there is a way to find and mutually agree on such a thing, only to find out it can't be explained except in an infinite amount of words - look but don't touch
who says heaven will be boring?
of course, maybe there's other things to do as well

They avoid the obvious Rabbio.
No answer for you.

Anyone can look, and see how Revelation 12:4 lines up with the statements about satan, formerly Lucifer, in Isaiah 14, and Ezekiel 28.

The verses themselves identify the "dragon", and who he is, in Revelation

Is it any wonder that the Triune Brain understanding is taught in modern educational curriculum?
