Here is a beautiful Cathar chant.

The Gregorian chants are also deeply moving.

I surrender...such a big part of the Christian path. Can be life transforming.
I see the same path in all religions. Even the non-Christian ones.
To be aware of the faults of life as an ego, the results...the resulting conflicts
and giving that all up for god, for love, being selfless, transcending self centeredness, ...

Matthew 5:30
English Standard Version
30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.

as a metaphor, one has to give up more than that, but then we live and become what we always were, what we really are

I surrender
I wanna know You more
Like a rushing wind
Jesus breathe within
Lord have Your way
Lord have Your way in me
Like a mighty storm
Stir within my soul
Lord have Your way

Hello Altair

I saw in the previous posts Nowayout had posted another version of "O Virgin Pure", but Divna's version is one of my favourites. It was sung in Greek language. Here is another song, sung in Old Slavonic language:

"Blessed are You, O Lord" (Blagosloven esi, Gospodi) - Divna Ljubojevic

Ah yes, nice, I liked that.

I loved the Orthodox liturgy, so divine, the insensing, and the prayers, all chanted. Not someone playing guitar on the altar if you know what I am saying but that's OK too. God's heart and spirit is pure and undisturbed, all my good friends in Christ!

How about this one...

Peace in the mystical Christ.

When I was a novice Trappist monk we would chant like this..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxd7Aiu_30Y

Our voices would echo off the high huge wooden church ceiling, it was also very mystical! Profound... then I discovered Orthodoxy.

Peace in Christ!

Now something a little more in the times...

Cohen was a prophet... ?

Hineni, here I am Lord.
