Strange image.

Hello, yesterday whilst meditating I saw a very clear image of a standing figure in a shroud facing me. Is this some kind of warning to me or just something that was floating around in the spirit world? I have never seen anything similar previously.

it has happened to me that i think are spirits sending an image, last like a second, could it be that? did you feel someone elses feeling before?

Thanks asearcher, it was a brief image but I felt nothing out of the ordinary, only surprise.

I meditate regularly and rarely see people, it is usually stars and streaks of light and bright light patches that fill my inner vision screen.

I often meditate before going to sleep at night. The first thing that I usually 'see' is a swirling vortex of energy and then sometimes I see random faces. Kinda like viewing a slide show.

Where you meditating alone or in a group setting.

I was as usual meditating alone at home but I can see where you are coming from, group meditation gives me different images presumably from tapping into the group's collective energy.

This spirit seems to be playing on your curiosities. Just like many humans, spirits too seek fame and attention.

Maybe this will make more sense later. Sometimes I see things that have no or very little meaning on the moment and start making sense later.

I believe it does now make sense. I saw the figure in the shroud on 11th October. My wife was unexpectedly diagnosed with suspected cancer on 20th of October and this has now been confirmed by tests unfortunately. It did not cross my mind that it might apply to her.

Hi dowsingdoer,

Don't worry, that is what I usually said to my students. It is normal case to "see" images when your meditation goes deep and those images varies from person to person. What you should do is to forget about it, don't let those images stay in your head disturbing the peace state of mind.

It happens because when you are in deep meditation, your life force/energy will go to your brian to improve/reinforce the function of brain during which process there will be sometimes concentrations of bioelectricities which is the cause of those images.

so, "see" images is a good thing meaning the meditation goes deep, brain gets improved, but dont immerse yourself into those images which is not good. If they come, let them come, dont pursue, and do let them go after they are gone, by the way, dont go with them.
