Angel1 HERBS FOR HEALING

There are a lot of herbs for healing that we can talk about.

The format I would like to see used goes something like this:

FIRST POSTER: name of Herb
SECOND POSTER: how you can use the above herb for healing.
                           name of second Herb.

and then continue repeating the cycle.

I will start.

The Herb is MOTHERWORT.

FEVERFEW:

Medically,
Feverfew is taken by mouth for fever obviously, allergies, anemia, arthritis, asthma, diarrhea, bone disorders, cancer, common cold, dizziness, earache, infertility (both male and female), intestinal gas, irregular menstrual periods, liver disease, migraine headaches, muscular tension, nausea, psoriasis, prevention of miscarriage, ringing in the ears, swollen feet, upset stomach.

Magically, Feverfew is carried by disabled and accident prone people to protect them from injuries.
Put some feverfew, some comfrey root and a St. Christopher Medal into a bag and anoint with sage oil. Put the bag in to the glove compartment box or hang it from the rear view mirror. This will provide protection while driving. For long trips, bathing with a tea made from Feverfew is very beneficial.

NEXT HERB: COMFREY

Comfrey: I have added a link to the pharmaceutical-journal.
I hope that is alright.

As far as personal uses, I have taken it in a sweat by boiling leaves and
adding it to the water that is poured on the hot rocks.
Also covered the ground of the sweat lodge for people to sit on.

It is good to wrap up injuries for healing.
I think it is a wonderful plant.

Herb:Osha root/Bear root

OSHA ROOT/BEAR ROOT

Found in the rocky mountains, has been reported to be used many for illnesses and wound care.

Care should be taken in harvesting as it is often confused with hemlock.

Next Herb: Lamb's Ear

LAMB'S EAR: is a wort, like Mugwort and Motherwort. Brits at one time loved this herb. It has been used for toilet paper, as an antibacterial bandage, aid for relieving pain from bee stings and insect bites. As a tea, great for colds, throat infections and asthma.
