  , You are most welcome and thank you and thank you for sharing your story.
In my former part of my life, I was a soldier, sort of still am but much differently. I was able to stomach some horrid scenes in my youth as you had said: "We all forget who we are". I during my awakening, I rediscovered myself and more of the empath came out in me. Recently I had watched a youtube video of on the aspect of life on the African plains. A circle of life scenario with hyenas eating an antelope alive (one of the things they do). It was only 1:50min long. I lasted 1:20min before I had to turn it off. More of my empathy had come through. I understand what you describe. Even with this.

One of the best stories of animal friends was a blind horse named Charlie and a goat named Jack. Each day Jack lead his friend to the lower pastures of their home and back again in the evenings. He did this for 16 years until Charlie finally died. Jack followed shortly after. I looked in vain on You Tube and unfortunately they discontinued the video. It made me cry every time I watched it.
Thanks for all the videos, I watched every one of them with much pleasure.

Merry Christmas.......... A pod of 10 sperm whales washed ashore and died on the beach at the end of my street on Christmas Eve.... Some would say "so what?" .... But this christmas for me, along with the whales and my lovely Leon , I have suffered 11 deaths......
