There's one that likes to taunt my cat through the glass doors. He'd run up to the door then run back to the middle of the yard and repeat. Just the other day, I saw a mother squirrel with her 2 baby squirrels. One baby was plastered a tree while the other was following its momma to cross a busy street. Momma squirrel turned back and ushered the baby squirrel back by the tree. If I wasn't so mesmerized and wasn't driving, I would've videotaped the interaction between them. So cute!
They teach us how to play (be carefree and have fun), go for easy food (bird feeders), love (take care of their own), and conserve (save food for hibernation) for lean times. There's never a dull moment watching the squirrels move about.

They are so fun to watch. The house we are moving into has lots of squirrels around.

^ Haha. Nice.
I found the culprit that was eating away at my pumpkins on my front porch. Busted! Squirrels surprisingly like to eat Pumpkins. I don't mind that they do actually. They add character to my surroundings, but I can see how frustrating it would be to have a garden, Crimsen.

I love squirrels! I often go to a funny website that has squirrel jokes and articles (and more) and probably thousands of photos of them. It's called "scary squirrel world" ...this is a humorous site, but clearly the owners are completely fascinated by the little critters.
On occasion I have met up with very curious squirrels who will run next to me (probably thinking I have food for them) and I think it's the cutest thing when a squirrel is keeping pace with you, like a little miniature dog.

Red squirrels ? Yes, absolutely ! I was a member of a Red Squirrel conservation group. But, the American Grey invaders are purely diseased vermin !
Good see that all the work that the Reds Conservation Groups put in over the years is bearing fruit and the reds are back in many areas of Britain.
