Oh, I had'nt seen it - amazing. Thank you so much for posting it. I love ducks, I had a couple of pet ducks for years, they're a very special creatures.

I've seen this before but it's a treat to see it again! Isn't it great? It was perfect timing apparently. She found those ducklings just when her Oxytocin was at its highest. If it had been a day or so either way it might have been a different tale! (well that's what they say, anyway, but I know animals are capable of kindness and affection, and are able to bond with other species. After all, they bond with us.)
Even beyond the "Oxytocin" explanation, she remains mother to those ducklings. It is funny watching big ducks follow a little cat everywhere! lol
