“There exists only the present instant... a Now which always and without end is itself new. There is no yesterday nor any tomorrow, but only Now, as it was a thousand years ago and as it will be a thousand years hence.”

“The most powerful prayer, one well-nigh omnipotent, and the worthiest work of all is the outcome of a quiet mind. The quieter it is the more powerful, the worthier, the deeper, the more telling and more perfect the prayer is. To the quiet mind all things are possible. What is a quiet mind? A quiet mind is one which nothing weighs on, nothing worries, which, free from ties and from all self-seeking, is wholly merged into the will of God and dead to its own.”

Is it true that We cannot know anything for certain?. It seems that all We can know is that We exist or that there is existence. Where it came from or how it was made, we can never truly know.

There tends to be an indirect relationship between beliefs and knowledge. The first is often greater when the second is lesser. We humans are far from those realms whereat truths are absolute. This is the reason that here on Earth religions are needed. We can only manage by translating down to our level those things that are sensed. This is the reason "infinite" is so difficult to grasp. Indeed not even ascended Master souls have all knowledge. We come away from the Earth though with a great store of wisdom which serves well in future, post human, adventures.

Something and nothing are two different things. Nothing isnt something, because it doesn't exist. Something isnt nothing, because it does exist.

Color SPACE: Non-occupied and Occupied---Simple Not Complex

This following is the most wholistic Cosmic Trinity aka "U"niverse or "G"od.

In addition the above Cosmic Trinity there are the sub-trinities. ..ex fermions, bosons and a newly discovered hybrid{?} third type in addition those two.

There exists the one finite, eternally existent finite Uni-V-erse, that is eternally complemented by;

1} metaphysical-1, mind/intellect/concepts, ex ego i/I, math { geometry, algebra, calculus etc }, language, truth - lies etc

-----line-of-demarcation-------------------------------

2} metaphysical-2, macro-infinite non-occupied space,

3a,b,c} spirit-2, Uni-V-erse i.e. occupied space as fermions bosons and any aggregate collection thereof and associated with sine-wave topologies ex /\/\/ or as ^v^v.
...plus a new third catagory that is some kind of hybrid of fermion and boson....

......3d} spirit-3, metaphysical-4, positive ( ) shaped gravity ( )

........3e} spirit-4, metaphysical-4, negative )( shaped dark energy )(

......................SPACE(>*<) i (>*<)SPACE...........................

( )( ) = vertical bisection of a torus { ex doughnut or hula-hoop }

( ( ) ) = horizontal bisection of a torus{ ex doughnut or hula-hoop }

From our standpoint there are two kinds of quiet mind. First is our own if we can manage to set aside for a few minutes the yearnings of the detached self. Second is that which we imagine belongs and operates from a spiritual plane which is above our own highest ability. We so often imagine such a place.

The second kind of quiet mind is that which is normally apparent on a plane above the divine. Here very few human beings have access or are functional on. The Master Jesus certainly was. At this level and above we would find, if we could manage it, a quality that we would not recognize as being mind at all. We might note that the product of this powerful force would be "will" of such a high nature that "all things would be possible".

To recap.... the quiet mind that is possible for us to attain is the first type. The quiet mind that we believe exists but cannot adequately define is the second. When considering such things remember the Universal Law of Correspondences.

Now take a look at the first comment regarding "timelessness". For a moment try to apply this idea to each of the quiet mind types. What happens? We would find a beginnings of agreement but the higher example would be without the "moment" of the lower. See? The reason for this is easy enough to understand. When considering anything esoteric never omit the quality of consciousness. As has been given this is an elemental principle. Meditate on the variations in consciousness and other questions will be answered.

Prayer has real power on any plane... because it is Will, born of Mind, directed as a Force, with Purpose.

Bartholomew

Nothing & nowhere...

Something is actually nothing, there are no things, nor anywhere for a thing to come from. The experience “perception” only appears to happen, as does thinking...so there is the thought / question “where does it all come from”. You can liken this to a dream, in which there are people, places, which certainly all appear to be perceived. But upon waking, it is simple & clear there were none of those, it was all you - dreaming.

Even to say “it” comes from nothing is not accurate, as nothing is actually everything, or superposition scientifically speaking. You & the room you are in, are nothing. Your idea, or thought of nothing, is not nothing, it is a thought about nothing. The thought / idea appears as a finite thing, like a chair, though it is nothing / infinity.

Keep in mind, numbers are just thoughts.

Time is a belief (a repeated thought), during sleep, the belief is not consciously held, so it seems as if it’s not ‘there’.

The Tao Te Ching references nothing / infinity, which again in actually is a substance of everythingness”, all possiblilites / superposition / potentiality. So a thought can never capture that which the Tao writings point to, as you are the very words pointing.

“Beginning” is a thought, not an actual thing, event, or situation.

Thank you Bartholomew, James.

You say the second is not attainable, except by the very few, is that corret?

That is very useful - thank you. I heard intention and attention are the secrets to success. Is this similar to prayer?

But would purity not be related? Example, pure hearts would be able to move mountains, therefore one's spiritual consciousness matters in the results.

I would hesitate to speak in absolute terms but generally, yes, only a few have functional ability on very high planes but remember that these are planes associated with our planet. Those correspondences with other worlds, especially "sacred" worlds, are different.

It is logical, is it not, that if there are spiritual planes in association with our world that there must be beings that work on them? So the question might be are there any human beings with such ability? My answer is yes there are. I would say that it would be extremely unlikely that any such would openly speak of such things. Why? Because in the open world there are too many personalities which bring confusion and distortion to "work". Consider this... Ultra high beings are normally in a deep meditative state. Should they stop their work and shift down just to speak to a human? Those few humans who have such access remain quiet. They do not speak of it. They are too busy working in solitude.

Intention (idea), application (formulation of purpose) then action (directed will).

Purity is a necessary element only because when it is present distractions are minimalized. But do not consider purity to mean high intent. Evil can also be pure. This is demonstrated handily by those dark practitioners in the world. It is worth noting here that the most effective way to avoid evil is to learn to operate on a plane which is above it's capability. Evil is non existent on any plane above the mental.

Yes. Consciousness is a determining factor. See above....

How does someone know if they are operating above its capability?
