[Unseeking Seeker]

First stanza is a quatrain with 8-6-8-6 syllable count in end rhyme abab +

Followed by 6-6-6 syllable count tercet, end rhyme ccc +

Concluded by an equal syllable count rhyming couplet using refrain (any length as of poet’s choice) beginning with the first word (or words) of the first line, as the last line of the poem

The refrain (last line of poem) is also the poem title

Embrace and release, each impulse
True freedom’s in the void
What attracts and what does repulse
Loving heart unalloyed

Simply present, here now
Lower mind disavow
Bliss ours, if we allow

Desire, a disease
Embrace and release

God-vibration, here now, within
Moment to moment thus
Voice of conscience saves us from sin
We go where God takes us

Spiritual heart vibe
So easy to describe
Bliss rapture we imbibe

Love sensation

Is it a ritual
When we be free from thought stigma
Bliss throb’s continual

Singular our focus
Along divine locus

Ready to walk away
Content always in God’s abode
Joyous, blissful sun ray

Ego based our fulcrum
It’s time now that we understand
Toxic residuum

On shift from head to heart
Fears and desires depart
Each life breath, a new start

On facing blockade, simply smile
The universe tests us
Smell the roses and rest awhile
Flow easy without fuss

View ego urge askance
Make erect soulful stance
Live thus in nonchalance

Attachments manifest

Cool poem, Unseeking Seeker. (Cool name! :P)
Makes me think of one I wrote:

If you sell your soul to demons,
If you do to ease some mental pain or craving
To regain happiness that you'd lost
Too soon, or just for the provisional pleasure at the cost
Of the utmost treasure, then know that no wand
Nor weal of heaven can easily "suppress"
The spell of demons once you pray to acquire
That starving hunger for their seductive caress,
For through your veins they'll tear like a fire
Burning behind the reins of your fading will,
And yet you'll likely invoke them still
On their dark, unholy desire to strangle and
Dangle in front of you and others your heart
While its ransom does ever rise,
And as the light of life within you dies
You'll just want these demons with you all the more--
When you sign to that fatal fee forever--
Please also be sure to know, before, that hell
Can spread so much further than your
Self, should you sell your soul to demons.

Demonic desires, dark, feral
Seek objects to possess
True love outpours, it’s touch plural
All’s but God consciousness

Go with love, not with lust
In God alone we trust
For what’s body but dust
