Having a feel for the stillness

I find that I can focus on a "memory" of what its like to be still and brings into sharp awareness the non still parts of my energy field, sometimes it feels like Im extremely agitated which is interesting because I wasnt consciously aware of the agitation. All that agitation relaxes as it comes into awareness. It occurs to me that we have to be ability to be completely still at any time. Just to make the choice to be still now. The agitation has a momentum and fights against it, but it cant really pull you away from stillness, only if you decide to let it.

Well your handle is ‘AlignedWithTheHeart’ ~ heart is where desires rise and also where they’re fulfilled.

Once head melds with heart, our default orientation is thought rested stillness, as you have affirmed. There is no conflict, no need to resist. All seeming agitation is but a wave in the ocean of consciousness, beheld by presence for heart’s delight.

The Silence between thoughts and the Silence after Om is also the Silence that underlies and pervades thoughts and Om.

What some call stillness I call peace. Peace feels good in the heart and is positive in nature and is a very good place to be internally. Once you have experienced stillness or peace you can return to that place internally because you have memory of how it feels therefore it only takes a single thought for the mind to rest in stillness or peace.

Peace be with you

What do we find after after stillness, if we cultivate it to go beyond it?
