Man is separate. And man is also a part of the whole. Just like anything else. Given there is no distinct and definite line that can be considered an ultimate separation as each flows into the next as you mentioned. Still it is helpful to see separation in the appropriate situations. This is all the term is referring to.

I really wish Jesus is real and come down and rescue the people who are being raped, tortured and killed right now as you are reading this.

I'm sure if I was a God and had the ability to do so, I would not hesitate to rescue those who are suffering at the hands of others

Don't know about you Whoguy, or anyone else for that matter, but I think it begs the question ~ "If there is a reason and a purpose to all that is going on: who'd yah think set it all up in the first place and is it going according to plan"????????

Okay, this is my guess: Each one of us did.

You are an aspect of "God," and "God" is not separate from you. So away you go! Start rescuing. Start ending the suffering. And the best way to do that is by transforming suffering consciousness.

Rightly so Baile, but if that's the case, we must have been programmed to ensure that would take place... Or at least the provider who set it all in motion, must have known that such would be the outcome...

Perhaps it was all set up to happen the way it is, in the first place, so that we'd all suffer in our own special way at what is taking place...

But Robinski, suffering is simply unconsciousness. We are unconscious souls while in the physical and apart from spirit. Suffering then is simply a developmental by-product of this soul growth adventure called incarnation and enlightenment. Once we've achieved understanding and enlightenment, suffering ends, that's a rule of life and consciousness. Stick your hand in a flame and learn that it burns, that's what suffering and the physical plane is about. Is it more than that? Maybe, I suppose, but that explanation does it for me.

I can accept that Baile, if suffering stopped totally... But if those following in our footsteps are the same as we were in out previous lives, shurely the suffering as far as they're concerned, is still a relevent and occuring factor...

Or do we actually reincarnate into a different dimention altogether, where everything and everyone has moved up a level??? Now that's a thought that's just popped into my head...

Actually, I've heard it said, that we reincarnate every one hundred and fifty years or so... The overall structure may have changed for the better at that rate ~ might it not???

Either way, suffering is learning. We suffer, and we choose to place ourselves in suffering life, for both karmic and self-realization reasons and purposes. I don't suffer in this life, I have it pretty good. But I'm aware that others suffer in this world, I'm not oblivious to that. My "fix" for that is not to deny suffering, but to be a joyful soul in this life. To be a representative and spokesperson for all that glorious life is, and that downtrodden suffering is not. I like to think I accomplish something with simply that attitude and approach. I believe our evolving, collective enlightenment in fact works that way.

That's not far removed from the way I view it Baile... Suppose it's the least and most, all wrapped in one ~ and the best anybody can hope to be ~ given that situation...

I wonder what it will be like in the year 2164??? There's bound to be some changes... That's if there's anyone left at all...
