Consciousness expansion
Feel good factor
Fear of ego yet the detractor

Immersed in action
No desirous attraction
Equal in both praise or criticism
Single eye; no dualistic chasm

Ostrich syndrome

Anxious face
Seeking solace
Comfort in lies
Empathy unwise
The prayer
To the soothsayer
Was to wipe the tear
Reduce fear
For the moment
Poignant
The prognosis
Of self hypnosis
A filler
A painkiller
To pass the night
And sleep tight
With a pillow beside
On dreams to ride
Until morning
Brings mourning
The illusion repeats
Delusion depletes
Life ebbs
As soul begs
For expansion
Not contraction

Self respect

For any reason
Ignorance or treason
If the relation is impaired
And no effort made to repair
At the callous guile
The egoless may smile
And yet
Noting lack of regret
Friendship suspect
Uncaring of self respect
The love remitted
Unaccepted
Love never does force
Unresponsive elements coarse
So best to put space
Between each other’s face
Without rancour
Without anger
Love outpouring potion
Leaves the door open
Always
And thus stays
Open mind, warm heart
Life anew each instant starts

Accepting chaos
Movement
Of thought
Observing as in looking
From a distance
Sometimes closer
The thought
Separate from us
Contracts
Recedes
Resurfaces
Looking back at us
To see if we are there
We are
But are not it
It is feeding time
But we feed it not
And keep looking
Nonchalantly
Disinterested
Soon we alone are
As we are
Consciousness
Presence
Attentive
Alone
The void
The space
Within
Magnetised
Draws the divine flow
Consciousness still
Yet moves
With the flow
Within which submerged
Embracing, Imbibing, Assimilating
Love
Being, Becoming, Ascending
As love
Love absolute

The equilibrium shift
Is not permanent
For the momentum
Of the wheel
Of time
Is in motion
And as does a pendulum
Oscillate
So does the thought

Since it is unglued
Now separate
The strings that attach
Thought to consciousness
Weaken
The umbilical cord
That feeds thought
Shrivels
To survive
The thoughts reboot

Is flowing within
Take permission
Drink the water
To quench your thirst
Or wander about
Kicking the pebbles

Weak immunity

Encountering the unconscious mind
It’s aggressive, feral posture
We filtered away & long left behind
That gross egoic mixture

Engage or ignore?
Our immunity being as yet weak
Though love ceaselessly outpours
Silence is the alone space we seek

The mosquito

Dead of the night
Mosquito buzzing in the ear
Swift in its flight
It’s buzzing a leer!

Light switched on
It moves to the ceiling
Sleep now gone
Imagine the feeling!

It is a benign blessing in disguise
For there is vibrant stillness in the air
Divine connect obtained in a trice
Meditational ecstasy without care!

The mosquito too is still
In the aura of stillness & silence
In unified will
All sentient forms resonate innocence!

Exiting meditation the mosquito is seen on pillow grey
Within easy reach of sure shot killing range
Instead, fan speed increased to harmlessly blow it away
Some would call the act as being mentally deranged!

Epilogue:

Substitute mosquito with a spider ...
And in our realisation we become humble & wiser
That as the venom content becomes more potent
What grips us is fear in that moment!
