Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Not so easy to give wise advice…IMO expectations can be counterproductive…..you must present yourself as a clean slate…your own experience is unique to you….otherwise you might deem it to be failure….

@ Molearner post #10 ~ well said. Attachment to experience is bondage.

As far as the plateau goes, it’s a time for inner assimilation. If we are uneasy, it signals we’re still in lower mind. No harm in it but we know where we are and can try to fix it.

sometimes reading too much can be a hindrance, as others say, submit to love/God; no expectations, only willingness.

Sweet, yes.:)

A word on expectation.
I sit for hours at a time...heavenly...I expect wonder - joy....and so on.

When I plant corn, I expect corn.
When I do a day's work I expect I will be paid.
When I have invited guests to my home and made a place for them ...I expect they will come.
When I sit in stillness with a full heart and empty cup ..I expect it will be filled to the brim.

So far so good.
