The Quartzsite, Arizona Rock, Crystal, Mineral, etc. shows begin January 1, 2022. That is about 1 month from now. This show heralds the large show, the Tucson, Arizona shows which right now is up in the air as to how many shows there will be. Should be about 65 shows..... give or take and last for about 1 month.

Unfortunately I live in Europe but I wish everyone attending a lot of fun. Should be amazing.

You might be surprised of the number of foreigners attending these Shows, especially the ones in Tucson, Arizona.

Also, a lot of foreigners sit up at these shows to sell their product.

Twenty years ago when my daughter was little we lived very close to a convention center that held a gem and mineral show every year. We'd go every year. We'd always stop at the table of a vendor from Maryland. We even went a few times after we moved out of the area. The vendor said she loved watching my little girl grow up. By the time we stopped going, most of the gem and mineral vendors were replaced by bead and jewelry vendors or other vendors that sold cosmetics, clothes, handbags, etc. I miss going to the shows that had all those mineral and gem vendors. It was like my own little slice of heaven!

Drove by one area that has various shows for the Tucson Shows. I was amazed, some of the tents are already up. I suspect why they might have gone up early is that there is a 'shortage' of laborers willing to work.

On January 1st, 2022, the first of the Mineral, Rock, Crystal shows begins at Quartzsite, Arizona. Many of those dealers will be at the Tucson shows which will begin around January 18.
At the Quartzsite shows, we should see if some of the big dealers were able to get their containers in time for the shows.
Last year, one big dealer didn't receive his container till after all the shows were over.

One large dealer, that will be in Quartzsite, claims he has 1/2 year of shipments sitting out in the Pacific!

Quartzite, Arizona, first rock and mineral show in the USA has been going on.

Most, if not all of the vendors, seem to be selling old stock. A constant theme is their shipments/container have not arrived.

Some vendors, have jacked their prices up. One vendor claimed before the show the prices would be higher then last year, but for the most part, their prices are at last year prices. I guess they did not want to make new prices..... which is a lot of work.

Some places, have very little stock and dealers that have money, are buying up, very fast, the existing stock.
