Using a tea bag as a pendulum is funny. I would never have thought of that. You do not need to use something expensive to make it work.

LOL....my most accurate pendulum is made from a 10" long piece of tie down cord that was used to tie down cargo in the back of my pickup attached to a 5/8" socket from my tool box.
It is uncannily accurate and beats out a commercially made crystal pendulum I've got most of the time.
