See Fibionacci sequence in the post above for another perspective relating to the initial post question.
Experiencing nonduality with another in my experience does not entail ‘two persons feeling like they have become ONE’ – not exactly.
Rather it is "seeing" the whole situation from a reference point of unconditional love, where there is no giver nor a receiver to that love as such – it just IS.

It is impersonal love, yet the transparency of the situation (without the dual barrier) makes it extremely intimate.
More intimate than being-in-love and intimate with someone.

Just love the number 0

The tarot card of this number is a nice image

But no image compares to 0.

Walking farther on the real and viable Path to Greater Truth lies not so much in what one has yet to learn but MUCH more in what one has left to let go of / release . . . in terms of limiting and misleading beliefs, patterns, habits, definitions, and so on.

You thought it was difficult up until now?

99.9999% of you will dismiss this.

Welcome to the Game.

Well, here is yet another opportunity to express Meher Baba's take
as to, "Why?".

'One Being infinite and eternal has created a conditional limitation of Itself that is experienced falsely as separation'....~J

Meher Baba:

God is love.
And Love must love. And to love there must be a Beloved.
But since God is Existence infinite and eternal there is no one for Him to love but Himself.
And in order to love Himself, He must imagine Himself as the Beloved whom He
as the lover imagines He loves.

Beloved and lover implies separation.
And separation creates longing; and longing causes search.
And the wider and the more intense the search, the greater the separation and
the more terrible the longing.

When longing is at its most intense, separation is complete, and the purpose of separation,
which was that love might experience itself as lover and Beloved,
is fulfilled; and union follows.

And when union is attained, the lover knows that he himself was all along the Beloved, whom he loved
and desired union with;

and that all the impossible situations that he overcame were obstacles which he himself had placed
in the path to himself.

To attain union is so impossibly difficult because it is impossible to become what you already are!

Zeroness is important when one is full of negative material influences and its necessary to eliminate that . Yet as an experience it is still incomplete not fulfilling psychologically. One always want to become more powerful by becoming/merging with something powerful. It is experience of one that gives one fulfilling experiences .

PS - I don't consider belief / non-belief in zeroness/oneness to be defining point of one's character. There have been many great examples of people with belief in zeroness and I appreciate/respect them for what they are.

Yes a good explanation of why One has to manifest as the illusion of Two.

A couple of my own thoughts. I see this post and each time I do, it's as though 'MAYA' is beckoning me to say something, even something profoundly stupid ! lol So here goes !

Objectifying things is the beginning of the end, sorry it is the end, you are immediately in illusion.

So what is Maya ? But all this !!!

Maya is a sign post on the way to the Beach, a clubhouse you may chose to visit and get drunk in and never arrive at the Beach !!!

Maya is that which WAS, which stops you from becoming that which 'IS'

Welcome to the Game.
Most people can not let go until they have learned what they are holding onto, and even if they
know what they are holding on to, most people have to learn how to let go. Learning is lifelong,
and there are many, many, levels, and dimensions, to learning. And 99.9999% of people will
dismiss this.
