My favorite pendulum is made of amethyst. Its technically a necklace. the amethyst is shape where the bottom comes to a point. Its my favorite because when i saw it i was drawn to it and had to buy it, and amethyst is one of my favorite crystals.

I am hearing amethyst a lot ~
it will probably make me go out and buy one made of amethyst
I have never been around that crystal before ~ I guess since so many people like it ~ I'll check it out
I bought my first pendulum finally ~ it started talking right away ~ very neat and interesting
one day it wouldn't say anything ~ I felt discouraged ~ but it stated talking again

Mine has 7 semi precious stones and a rose quartz heart at the top and end of chain has a rose quartz peudulum.

the only one I ever uses was a biro on a piece of string

Now I don't know what a biro is.
The ladies from years ago would use their pendulums to find out which sex of baby a mother was going to have....I'm thinking they used a simple string with an attachment at end to move.

I have a few pendulums one of my favourites came as a necklace from a friend
it is amethyst with a few other colours running through it
My daughter bought me one that came as a necklace but it is to big.that is Amethyst with Citroen and other colours wrapped around it.
The one i bought myself are Lapis and amethyst

I use anything as a pendulum but when I was teaching about pendulums, everybody got a pendulum at my expense......... they got a tea bag.
