I can second this: it felt like I was waiting but also like I secretly lived!!! At least in some dimensions space—-??

Very interesting food for thought.
I don't recall, but my earliest memories are just overall unhappiness about being on earth.
The "lying dormant" comment sounds about right, but I'm pretty sure I was thrown back here for karmic reasons and not because I wanted to.

Yes - 'secretly lived' is an apt description. Life in the universe's unconscious is not being 'dead' it's a sort of wallowing in the total knowledge available. You although part of the whole can use your individual thought field(s) to create whatever sort of existence is right at that moment for you.

What you believe is true.

I feel like I "poofed into" Earthly reality, having had no existence whatsoever before. Very deeply do I not feel any affinity for any type of existence for me, before I was born. More deeply do I feel affinity towards my future after-Earth life, which I'm describing in my up-and-coming thread about "my" other dimension. I feel like I'm immortal in the future direction, but not in the past.

What I recall of the in-between state is a small realm, like the size of a manor, that seemed like it was created especially for me. Here I spent some time re-acclimatising to 'being back' there, consulted with guides, connected with family and contemplated the status quo. Then at some point, not too long really, I decided to project into a new body, with some consulting from my guides.

There are other places 'in between' as well that I assume I'd have visited, but I don't recall these explicitly in connection to dying.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Voltaire saw it as it really is.

The word resurrection we have simply replaced with the word recycling.

Being born is an amazing moment, it's also a very weird moment and should in fact be viewed upon as being impossible. Personally I have more than 8 decades behind me and I am still amazed at being 'me'. Now, doddering towards death I'm happy about all there is.

I almost certainly asked my mother 'where did I come from' but she couldn't tell me - probably hinted at a stork. No-one I have ever met in any form has ever been able to tell me from where I come although there have been plenty of wild guesses. None have ever borne fruit.

Had she said 'you come from the same place you will be going back to when you die', I'd later have called her words 'hitting the nail on the head'.

There is one reality we are all familiar with - we call it the universe. Our solar system occupies a teeny-weeny corner of one galaxy and there are said to be billions if not trillions of galaxies. Someone once said, 'there are as many stars and planets in the universe as there are sand corns on all the beaches of the Earth. We now know that he wasn't far off. Even using the fantastic attribute of imagination we cannot envisage just how, where or why other life forms could exist. If we look deep down into the oceans of the planet and see the varieties of life possible under other conditions of those known to us we can get a slight idea - maybe.

And we can say almost with certainty that the whole universe - like everything else will be recycled - that is to say reborn. Whether it will be recognisable or not is another question.

That a wheel turns and starts anew again is the first law of the universe. This law is valid for every form of life and for everything else too. Everything gets reborn in one way or another. We, being part of all there is have no other choice than to partake of these changes - if we don't have any awareness or consciousness we won't know.

Life as we know it from being part of it has its fundament in being present in the HERE and in the NOW.

There is nothing else.

To be continued.
