my question is how; What is a planet doing that taught the astrologer that the planet has traits and a personality of its own. where did the story or event concerning the planet its self-come from? Here is an example of what I'm trying to ask: Chiron is the "wounded warrior". and discovered not long ago, right? So, who created the story of how Chiron got its own personality traits? I personally think Chiron was a planet that had a collision with a larger planet, thus making Chiron wounded. I didn't think of this until the Wolf Moon/Blue Moon in Jan. 2022 made me feel really bad. It was a bad year all the way through. I identified with the horoscope 100%.

When Chiron came along, things started clicking with me and I got really interested.

I think you were very clear. :) A good question also is where did the Meridian points come from in Acupuncture?
I believe someone was 'given insight' - a Revelation about these things.
And not just anyone - but a person who meditates, probably.

After 5000 yrs anyone just observing where the stars are and the occurrences in people and events could figure out quite a lot, imo.

I, in MY short time, figured out a LOT asking people their signs since I was 19 yrs old on; boy oh boy, are certain traits in people alike in the same sign!

I think that kind of stuff goes way way back to the times of Atlantis.
Survivors of the downfall spread out across the world, groups with a Highpriest/es, and started new communities. These were still very high vibrational as they came straight from Atlantis.
Egypt, Greece area was one of these places.
The wisdom & knowledge got watered down as time past, but I do believe the wisdom, intrigue, core knowing of planets & stars remained.
Certainly in areas where such a community was founded, the wisdom was greater & deeper, more innate, than elsewhere.
That might explain why in such areas people were born with more abilities, one of which might be the interest in the energies and effect of planets on people.

And what better way to clarify it to others, and to make sure the knowledge wouldn't get lost over time, was to connect it to gods and deities and create stories around it.

I have little attraction to astrology but occasionaly think about the actualities if it wasn't here and someone invented it as a new science today, would the Sun,Moon and Earth positions at birth/conception be important?I think so ,even the movements and gravitational effects may influence the way how DNA grows in the embryo,there will be other rays that penetrate the womb too.
The philosophy I loosely follow reckons there was once a universal vedic culture that permeated the universe,so some names could have arison from the actual inhabitants coming here,also through history different types of respected seers could have viewed these planets and seen the nature of them as remote viewers do today.Vedic,Egyptian and other cultures recognise a sun god,how can something that generates,animates and feeds life here have no life within it?Even if there is no sun god the sun is amazing,and that leads me to a circular argument ,how can something so amazing not be controlled by some super intelligent being?
