how to be happy with less money
I've taken Miss Hepburn's advice and started this thread, however i don't know where to post it,
so I'll leave it here and see what happens.  |

... Just wondering why the caveat "with less money"? Wouldn't that be an individual's preference to decide for themselves?

Hi,
I find that abundance is created by how well you budget your expenditures. So yes indeed you can work with less money and create greater monetary well being.
The policy is to cut back and eventually eliminate wasteful spending. When you learn to do that you have more money.

Downsizing is one method of being happy with less money, i.e. living more within your means and not being a wage slave/controlled by materialistic desires.
I am not on that materialistic craving wheel. It's designed so that, once having bought the desired product, the novelty invariably soon wears off then it's on to the next craving....
Being happy within yourself is where it's at! Those who are spiritually focused have a head start!

If your happiness is tied to money, you may have a problem
with regulating them both.
I find Thankfulness and gratefulness to assist in the happiness arena.
I find my own rhythm in Life where I am happiest.

I dont think money can solve all issues if you are not happy within with no money
it is not going to make a difference if you have money.
the things that make Happy dont involve money at all.
waking up to feel the warmth of the sun and birds chirping. make me happy
as well as helping others,

All I can say is money doesn't interest me just as long as I've got enough to survive on. |
