Creating silence in the mind

Hi all,

can please somebody give me an advice how to switch off my thoughts? All the time I imagine that other people can hear my thoughts (it began since I've heard about the existence of telepathy). Meditation and antipsychotic medicine unfortunately do not help.

Blessings

All I can say is practice Thought Control or Management...have only kind or innocent or neutral thoughts....
that is, if it is too hard to quiet the mind.

Another technique for unwanted thoughts is to place your attention on what
you DO want or like ---visualize being at the beach, I dunno.

I've practice Thought Control for years - so far so good!!!! :)
I think thoughts that I like; that are pleasing.
Abraham-Hicks helped me even more.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Hello,

thank you for your answer. May I ask what exactly thought control is for you? What do you do?

Blessings

Sure. It's similar to tuning the channel. Say, you come across yet another a bloody Crime show
and you're not in the mood, don't wanna see that ...you want a comedy after a hard, intense day.
Click.
Same with thoughts, "I hate that guy, I'll never get that job, Why does she keep doing that with my chair!!? Grrr".
Who wants those thoughts that create angry or low self-esteem emotions/feelings?
So you just stop that thought and think of something pleasant.

It becomes a habit to think only nice, easy thoughts...kind, forgiving, unbothered thoughts about road rage, a stupid boss,
the lawn hasn't been mowed by your son again...Grrr.

Watch, you become a mellow, likeable person.
So much happier - no depression, no fights - more understanding, more confident....it's great.

With a lot of patience.

Having said this, don't force your thoughts out, be gentle. Let them be for a wile and slowly let them go.

Thank you very much dearest people :) I'll try it out. It sounded just great what you have told me - no long explained techniques.

I'll observe my moods, thoughts and feelings and if something gets better, I'll necessarily inform you.

Have a nice time and once again - many many thanks.
