Butterfly
"Butterfly"
Could I ever be a butterfly, to soothe my broken soul?
In Harmony of paradise, as I am finally becoming whole?
Could I ever be a butterfly, the sound of dewdrops on my wings
To morph with all of life, while I'm making peace with everything.
Could I ever be a butterfly, in a sanctuary formed from light
a place indescribable, where intentions transform into flight?
Could I ever be a butterfly, in world filled with too much despair
Where I am only energy, gleaming through like something rare?
Could I ever be a butterfly, when it seems dreams are just too old
Touching a sky of a silver, with only horizons that shine like gold
Could I ever be a butterfly, in the midst of turmoil and pain
through the summer showers, made pure just like the rain
Could I ever be a butterfly, a metamorphosis where I am feeling
To taste the precious moments, embraced in a cocoon of healing
Could I ever be a butterfly, from catterpillar to living carefree
Where deep inside my reflection, becoming the real version of me
