What are your beliefs on Reincarnation?

I’d love to know so I can try and apply/decipher mine! I’m new to Wicca and know they believe in Summerland and reincarnation. Also do you believe in punishment after death?

Thanks!

Hi

Yes, I do believe in reincarnation, as I believe we are here on Earth School to learn.

I don't think anyone will punish after death. It will come down to your soul that will judge what could have done differently and plan next reincarnation.

Peace and blessings

Yes I believe in Reincarnation what we don't learn in one life time we come back to carry on learning.happily for me I walk my final path I wont be coming back. I have lived many life times and this by far has been the worse
There are Layers in the spirit world if you do wrong you start at the bottom until you come to terms with what you have done.
that is my belief anyway.

That is pretty much the Hindu belief, which I subscribe to. The difference is that we generally believe we don't know when it will be our last reincarnation. There's an exception that Krishna promised in the Bhagavad Gita... if we remember him at the time we quit our bodies, there is no doubt we will become one with him, i.e. moksha, liberation from the cycle of rebirth.

What I feel about reincarnation isn't a belief for me, but rather what makes sense because of what I've experienced and learned through research. Many believe reincarnation happens to a spirit/soul/consciousness about every 145 years between livetimes. Sounds good to me...! Because of past life stories of children, it makes sense to me that when children pass their next incarnation may be in a matter of a couple years. Does our consciousness reach a level when it no longer needs to incarnate? I don't know.

Punishment after death? No...only enlightenment. I learned that through a NDE. Many others who've experienced a NDE also attest to this.

Reincarnation would at least explain why my current life has failed. But I don't know if it's real. Where is the evidence?

I believe in reincarnation . We punish our selvs . I dont think there is 100% proof , some people do have memories as kids but most forget about 5 . There is a boy that has memories of having been a ww2 combat pilot and getting killed in battle . He has knowledge of ww2 air craft a small boy should not have and he knew the name of the guys wife , who is still living . There is a guy that is the reincarnation of one of the builders of the Titanic who went down with the ship . Both stories are easy to find on the net. On problems with ones life , do a past life regression to find lives with problems , then let go of the problems with that life .Lets say you watched your family die of the plage , then lived and died with all that guilt . Lets say you were a member of the Doner party who turned to canabalism to stay alive , and today you have a eating problem ( fat or skinny ) I will post more if asked .

I don't believe in it in the eastern sense that we're reborn thousands of times. The reason is I can't imagine anyone who would actually want that besides being forced to do so by a demi-urge (false god).

But I think we probably return now and again out of choice.

I believe we reincarnate, and the universe reconstructs itself ad infinitum. There is no end to it, only perhaps long periods of staying in a specific place and incarnation which may give the illusion of it being forever. In the larger context, change itself is the reality. 'Punishment' and 'reward' happen all the time through activities, and not just after 'death'. We are forever enjoying (and not enjoying) the ride. We can try to escape through believing in religion and practising or achieving X or Y but there is no escape..

I think we are the sum of all of our ancestors, and each of my ancestors is part of my whole, living in me right now, as 1 of many manifestations of my soul. So when I die, I live on in my descendants as a part of them, and if I have no heirs, then I live on in the lives of those who I touched
