Watching this series, it’s a really dark comedic series. Really good!
I also agree.

I like the way the Irish talk, like she asked the shopkeeper the way to some place, and the shopkeeper says, "I wouldn't start here". Lol.

One more of bodkin to watch. I love the way the Irish talk, must be my Celtic roots.. ;)

I just watched the first episode of Anne with an E. I’m captivated by her.. she’s such a delightful actress and her role is mesmerising.

I just turned it in...I had no idea it was a period piece or that it's based on memories
of the author's childhood on PEI -Prince Edward Island! That's Nova Scotia, Canada...
I know all about rural PEI and the people there, (of course, not from the 1890's!)...like stepping back in time, still today, tho...
amazing place, that's for sure! Lived there.
Found many mussels with my feet on it's beaches. But, the Black Flies will eat you alive!
Ha, I just looked up there is a BRIDGE now to PEI; the longest bridge over iced water!
To leave PEI is about $50 USD!

Thank you....I have passed by this series many times.

"Promising Young Woman" is a strange dark thriller on Netflix that is definitely worth a look.

I watched an interesting Netflix documentary called "Killer sally " yesterday. The focus of the documentary is former amateur wrestler, Sally McNeil, AKA Killer Sally, Ray's wife and murderer, who tells her story through interviews.

I watched a British series called "Black Doves". It's an intelligent show with excellent dialogue. It's like "Kill Bill", but with sophistication.

I second Anne with an E, and Black Dove.
Tonight, for me , is S2 of The Night Agent. :)

Not a series on Netflix, but I was surprised at the unique story of Emila Perez up for Oscars.
Took a while for it to get very interesting.
