What is surrender?
Provocative question
The provoked ...
Is who?
The surrenderer ...
Is who?
And surrendering ...
What?
And so ...
Since self & non-self
Are indivisible
While in form
When our attention
Is flowing in the sea of oneness
There is nothing to surrender
While, when it is not
Well ... we are not ... complete
Yet, in form
Now that we are here ...
Let us be specific ...
If we can!
It all begins ...
With thought
Thought per se ...
Is enabling
No question about it
It is the clinging ...
To thought patterns
That cripples
The story of ...
A baby elephant calf
Tied to a fragile rope
Experienced captivity
Got used to captivity
It clung to that thought
Even when it grew
To size & strength enormous
But remained captive
Not to the rope
Which was by then anyway untied
But to long years ...
Of conditioning ...
That made it believe
In thought
That it was captive
As with the calf
It is with us
Senses externalised
Thoughts externalised
Bemused, addicted
So surrender not thought
But the addiction
The conditioning
To indulge
At the low thought frequency band
We have gotten used to ...
Engaging in endlessly
That is all there is ...
To surrender
Which means ...
If we elaborate ...
Discarding identity
Vanity
Given by society
Discarding desire & fear
Originating in attachments
Using but not depending upon ...
Memory
Imagery
In other words ...
The self!
What remains?
Non-self, which is simply ...
Stillness
Oneness

The astral entity
The familiar face
Or so it seems
Greets us
In our dreams
We know
It is not he
The outer shell is a cloak
For an astral entity
The game is harmless
Under the astral sun
All the entity wants
Is to have some fun
His exposure is inevitable
For we recognise & understand
But do we smile at him with love
Or reprimand?

The wise fool
Over time, the knowledge we gain
Through considerable toil & pain
Wisdom too in part we no doubt imbibe
Yet full are we of egoic pride
We tend to feel we know more than the other
We secretly wish to be more superior than our brother
So when someone offers us a genuine love emotion
We tend to take it to be a lethal hemlock potion
The foolishness! For who are we, in reality
We say we believe in oneness, in singularity
Yet have closed minds to constructive criticism
Between self & non-self there remains a wide chasm
To say we are egoless is egoistic
To resist advice is being eristic
In short, in any form of hesitation ...
Signals narrowness & contraction
Time for continuous contemplative consciousness correction!

Plot the thought
That resists
Patterned in a slot
Which cooperation desists
Upon reflection
Our contraction being needless
The stressful condition
Is an egoic game aimless
Consciousness correction
Reducing elements of dissension
Bringing about love expansion
Marks our incremental ascension

Fulfilled & Joyous
When alone
We being ...
In all time ...
Any time
Contemplation
And Meditation
Self fulfilled ...
Self contained ...
Or are we self absorbed?
The internal ...
Overshadowing
The external
Somewhere along the way
Have we become ...
So nonchalant
Detached ...
Perhaps Indifferent even
That in pursuit of divine connect
Our compassion in action is suspect?

Enlightenment
A word
A symbol
To describe
A state of consciousness
Beyond ...
Way beyond
Our present degree of ...
Evolution
Yet the truth is
We know not what it is
So let us say ...
Each micro ascension
Is in itself enlightenment
For, with every negativity ...
Erased
We are no longer the same person
We used to be
The slightest shift
In consciousness
In as ascending
Is enlightenment
Love enablement ...
Even in part ...
Is enlightenment
Experiencing oneness ...
Is enlightenment
These are moments
Fleeting moments
Of enlightenment
And so cannot be ...
The real thing
If the experience
Is fleeting
Transient
Not replicable
Not retrievable
At will
Yet, such glimpses ...
Pursued
Embraced
Imbibed
Assimilated
Once they are embedded
At our core
As our default state
Of consciousness
Now awareness
Permanence of oneness
With no separateness
We may be said to be
Enlightened
Or perhaps not!
It may but mark
As seems possible
Probable
Likely
As felt intuitively
A new beginning
For yet higher ascension
Towards higher realities
As yet unfathomable

Elephant and Man
A baby elephant
Separated from its mom
Entrusted into the arms of a man
Tied by a rope
To keep from fleeing
The man kept his keeping alive
By working hard
To provide all its needs
Hoping.. one day
When grown
The baby elephant will return
The favorite
Baby elephant, a pack being
Started to trust and to attach
To its keeper
The keeper cannot help
But to love his keeping
In time,
Rope is unnecessary
Tied by love
As neither will abandon
Each other

In which the casualty
Is the love enactment
Actually attachment
Which holds and binds
New agendas finds
To become static
Whereas evolution is dynamic
Growing, expanding, endlessly
Immeasurably
Now to the elephant calf
Which never was whole, always half
Because
The cause
Was attachment, that fed
Blindfolded and led
Stifling its growth, weakening its resolve
To evolve
Elephant Tamasic, its keeper Rajasic
