What Ford should I buy?

Hi everyone :-)

I have a sort of dilemma. I'm sure I want to buy a car - specific a Ford. But I don't know which model?

I can't be an old and classic model or a new one. Which model should I choose?

I will be happy for your suggestions, and feel free to argue for your choice :-)

minx.

A lot deponds on how you are going to use a car/pu . If gas is expencive where you live , ect. Lets say you are a mecanic and need tools . Then you get a pu . If you need to carry people around then you want some thing nice . I would look for some thing that looks/runs good and is cheep .

Fords are good. Cheap running costs. The build quality is not the best but they do the job.

I would buy a Ford fiesta myself.

A friend of mine has a ford expoler with a 5 sp . ( std tranny) Ford uses a hydrolic clutch . To me the master/slave cyl. set up is really mouse looking . To replace the slave cyl. you need to remove the tranny . Its a common source of problems as thee a number of you tube videos on it . Any way a couple of guys can do the job in a few hours , but its still a pain in the $#@ .

I wouldn't buy a Ford. I bought a sedan Hyundai and got more car for my money. If you're looking for a pick up truck, I'd look into a Dodge. Sometimes you pay more money for the name. Trucks, Jeeps, suv and other large cars use a lot of gas compared to cars with smaller engines.

If you don't need a truck, look for sedans and fuel efficient ones at that. Even though they're 4 cylinder, they do pack power.

My mini had the same clutch set up. In theory this shouldn't be a problem if the vehicle is serviced properly.
If the clutch failed the slave would/should be replaced with the new clutch. Every car/ small truck has some fault. All in all I find Ford's quite cheap to maintain. I'm in the UK so not sure about other parts of the world.

If you are not on a budget buy what you like, maybe something fancy or sporty ....why am I talking about car maintenance on this forum Ha ha
