Full Super Moon in Aquarius 11-12 August

Hot on the heels of the Lions Gate -which hasn't even closed yet- we're headed for a full supermoon in Aquarius.

Early morning here, around 3, so 6 hrs earlier in US EDT, and with that 11/12 August, depending on where you live.

I saw it tonight and it was gorgeous! I took a few photos right from where I was sat behind my PC, and Lo' and behold, it worked great!
The thingies at the bottom are the tips of my paint brushes that are in a pot on the dining table.

This moon can give flashes of insight and clarity and make you feel very freedom-loving.
It would be best to write ideas down that come up and not act right away though.
Because Moon is square with Uranus you can also have old things and memories well up (which is why you shouldn't act right away) and with that feelings of "I'm done with this!!"
But these are just memories, you do not have to get into it, not do anything with it really. Just recognise and acknowledge and let go.
Let Light and and lightness be your guide, not pain and negativity. You define what you give attention to (and with that make bigger).

The Moon and Saturn are almost together which makes realistic and responsible, gives courage and perseverance.

Other influences can make you allergic for authority, everyone that wants to hold you back and exert power over you. This is from 12-15 August.
If you feel that happening, take a bird's eye view of your true self and your possibilities and don't get distracted by -nor lost in- statements of the external.
So try to remember that when you feel triggered or challenged.

I think this also goes with the Chiron Retrograde, but the good thing is the universe is giving me a concurrent message about time for creative play. Play, rest and regroup

Meanwhile, I also have an increasing sense of community via the Mercury in Virgo (it's all integrated)

I totally understand this. From an astrology point of view, the planets show us our resilience to the influence of Nature (environment and our bodies), or the lack of it. If our natal moon is suffering in our chart, then the physical moon is going to trigger it (also I find this with Jupiter's transits over natal moon, also the 3 days leading up to full moon which the ancient Babylonians also noticed).

Moon brings up the water associated with oceans and fertility. Our bodies are mostly water and our fertility cycle influences our hormones so our mood and behaviour is influenced by our body in this way through the moon's cycle. The moon goes through phases, so do our bodies, our growth, our emotions, our thinking - everything. It's a powerful influence!

But the supermoon is also a spectacular time for us precisely because it opens us up and makes us so vulnerable to psychic phenomena and that can take us closer to our spiritual home. It's a great time to meditate, to cocoon yourself from the outer world and see what's coming up from inside. Moon helps us see what needs to be washed and healed. It brings out our feminine side (the yin), our intuition, softness, and heart and sacral chakra qualities. What is moving in us and how do we measure it? Those are the questions Moon prompts us to ask.

No clouds. Full Moon will be at 3:35 at night. I will swim in the lake, in full moonlight.

I went upstairs when it was rising. I couldn't see it downstairs yet but I did see the clouds were glowing orange-yellow. So I went upstairs and it was gorgeous!
A huge orange-yellow moon, its reflection lighting up the sky around it.

Now it's higher up, its usual paler colour, and I can see it whilst typing, from my chair behind the PC.

It is clear and bright. Loving it!!
It's still on the rise though, so in an hour or so I can't see it from indoors no longer, I'd have to go outdoors to see it.
