To a large extent his music was the music of a generation. An icon.

57 is no age ...

A reminder of the frailty of our tenure on this earth ...
All this talk of religion, but it's how you live your life that is the all-important thing.
If you set out each day to do all the goodness and kindness that you can, and to do no harm to man or beast, then you are walking the highest path.
And when your time is up, if you can leave the earth a better place than you found it, then yours will have been a life well lived.

RIP Prince, his music was so soulful.
Too much intellectual pride and not enough intellectual beauty

To Thine own Self be True

The Frost performs its secret ministry,Unhelped by any wind. Samuel Taylor Coleridge

It was just some hours before full moon I got the news that Prince had gone to the other side. I looked out my window and saw the cherry tree in full blossom and I wondered: Did you predict this, Prince?

Well for me it looked like you died "under the cherry moon". The last song on the Parade album is "sometimes it snows in april" - and the lyrics goes:

Sometimes it snows in April
Sometimes I feel so bad, so bad
Sometimes I wish life was never ending,
and all good things, they say, never last

And love, it isn't love until it's past

It's true. It's easier to say I love you now, Prince. Thank you for your spirit visiting me. RIP.

Be at peace Prince. Thank you for all the good memories dancing to your music from the early 80's to listening to your more recent music in my car just days ago. You were a true artist that impacted generations.
