A Different World
It’s the assurity that gets you
Sometimes
Men high up in important places
Telling the world what to do
This morning I looked through
My back window at a morning
Star and felt my body move
Like a Galaxy
For a second or two I couldn’t
Remember the war games or the
Names of the countries
The names of your men
And your precious slaves
The sun kissed yachts were
You crave more
This morning through a humble
Window, a Galaxy
Above the world like a sleeping child.
